Worksheets online are either too easy, too hard, or about the wrong thing. With Claude you can make exactly the practice your child needs, about the things they love.
Printable worksheets
Worksheet builder Claude
Make a printable worksheet for a [grade] student on [topic, e.g. two-digit subtraction with borrowing]. Theme it around [their interest, e.g. backyard chickens]. 10 problems from easy to harder, big writing space, a fun title at the top and a line for their name. Put the answer key on a separate page at the end. US letter, print-friendly.
Flashcards
Cut-out flashcards Claude
Make printable flashcards for [sight words / multiplication facts for 6s and 7s / state capitals]. 8 cards per page with dashed cut lines. Question big on the front. Put the answers on a second page laid out so they line up on the back if I print double-sided.
Quizzes they can click
Claude can also build little interactive things: a quiz your child taps through on a tablet, with you nearby.
Tap-through quiz Claude
Build a simple interactive quiz for a [age]-year-old on [topic]. 10 multiple-choice questions, big buttons, one question at a time. Cheer when they get it right, give a gentle hint when they don't and let them try again. Show a happy message and their score at the end. No sign-in, no ads, nothing that collects their name.
Learning games
- Bingo: “Make 6 different bingo cards using this week’s spelling words.”
- Scavenger hunt: “A backyard science scavenger hunt for a 7-year-old with 10 things to find and one question about each.”
- Word search or crossword: “A crossword using these 12 vocabulary words, with clues a 4th grader can read.”
- Reading comprehension: “Write a 300-word story at a 2nd-grade level about a lost puppy, then 5 questions about it.”
Check before you hand it over
AI makes mistakes in answer keys, mislabels things and sometimes builds a word search with a word missing. Before your child uses it:
- Work the answer key yourself, especially math
- Make sure the reading level is right (ask Claude to make it easier or harder)
- Check facts in anything about history, science or animals
Selling later?
Worksheet bundles are one of the most popular things moms sell. If you plan to sell yours, keep them original: don’t copy pages from a curriculum, and don’t use characters or brands you don’t own. More on that in Module 6.
Try it tonight
Make one worksheet on something your child is learning right now, themed around their favorite thing. Check the answer key yourself. Watch whether they groan or grin.
